The Laviniad

By Claudio Salvucci

The Trojan War Saga Continues! The Laviniad is a modern homage to the Aeneid, the great epic poem of ancient Rome. The Trojan War hero Aeneas safely brought his people to Italy but has disappeared, leaving his son Ascanius and his wife Lavinia to defend the city against the Etruscan tyrant Mezentius.

First published as a hardback, hand-sewn edition in 1994, the Laviniad marked the return of a classical style to modern literature.
